STEIFF Rupert Classic Range 'Rupert' Bear - White Tag 653568 Limited Edition

Steiff - Rupert Bear (White Tag 653568) was released in 2007 as part of the Rupert Classic Range and was produced exclusively for the UK and Ireland. This charming collector's piece is a limited edition of just 3,000 pieces worldwide and portrays one of the most iconic bears from the famous Nutwood stories.

Measuring approximately 30 cm/12" tall, Rupert Bear is crafted from the finest white Alpaca and is fully jointed for posing. His expressive face features traditional features, bright safety eyes, and a beautifully hand-embroidered white nose and smiling mouth. He is stuffed with synthetic filling and carries the famous gold-plated Steiff "Button in Ear" & white limited edition ear tag.

Rupert is wonderfully dressed in his classic outfit, consisting of a red knitted jumper, yellow trousers, matching yellow scarf and white lace-up shoes - making him a most colourful character in the series. The bear is considered in Good plus condition.

NB his shoes are showing signs of light exposure causing slight yellowing.

This Bear is presented in its original Steiff presentation box which is in good condition (small ink writing to box). NB - The official Certificate of Authenticity Swing Tag is missing.
