Our Story

Top Teddies Ltd is a small family-run UK business born from a love of vintage and collectable teddy bears.

Our story began in the 1990s when we discovered a small collection of old teddy bears stored in Grandma’s attic. Among them were beautifully made bears from classic makers such as Steiff and Hermann. Fascinated by their craftsmanship and history, we began learning more about antique bears and started collecting them ourselves.

What began as a hobby soon grew into a passion. Over the years, we have visited antique fairs and collector events across the UK, building knowledge and carefully sourcing special bears, including those from renowned makers.

After launching our business in 2021, today, Top Teddies Ltd proudly shares these wonderful bears with collectors around the world through our website. As a family-run business, we carefully select every teddy bear we offer, believing that each one has its own story and deserves to be treasured for generations to come. 🧸
