STEIFF Rupert Classic Range 'Bill Badger' Bear - White Tag 653636

Steiff - Bill Badger (White Tag 653636) was released in 2010 as part of the Rupert Classic Range and was produced exclusively for the UK and Ireland. This charming collector's piece is a limited edition of just 1,500 pieces worldwide and portrays one of Rupert Bear's loyal friends from the famous Nutwood stories.

Measuring approximately 30 cm/12" tall, Bill Badger is crafted from the finest white and black Alpaca and is fully jointed for posing. His expressive face features traditional black badger markings, bright safety eyes, and a beautifully hand-embroidered nose and smiling mouth. He is stuffed with synthetic filling and carries the famous gold-plated Steiff "Button in Ear" & white limited edition ear tag.

Bill is wonderfully dressed in his classic Rupert-inspired outfit, consisting of a crisp white shirt, yellow waistcoat, bright blue jacket, striped trousers, white lace-up shoes and a smart red bow tie, making him one of the most colourful characters in the series.

This Bear is presented in its original Steiff presentation box, complete with the outer trade carton. The official Certificate of Authenticity Swing Tag is missing. The bear is in Good Plus condition and the presentation box and outer carton are in good condition.

NB one shoe is showing some light wear marks on the trim.
