Created to honour the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, this special Steiff bear was produced exclusively for the Guild of Specialist Glass & China Retailers. This bear is No. 679 of only 2,002 pieces issued worldwide, making it a meaningful and collectible commemorative piece.

Crafted from warm golden mohair, the bear has a firm, traditional feel thanks to its filling of wood. It is fully jointed and features classic Steiff detailing, including black glass eyes and a hand-stitched nose, mouth, and claws in brown. A working growler is fitted inside, producing a gentle sound when the bear is tilted.

Around its neck, the bear wears an elegant Wedgwood blue ribbon, finished with a matching cameo-style pendant featuring a profile of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Adding to its commemorative significance, the paw pads are beautifully embroidered, with 'E II R' on the right and '1952–2002' on the left.

The bear retains the iconic Steiff “Button in Ear” with white tag and remains in excellent condition. It is accompanied by its official certificate and presented in the original box with magnetic clasp, which is in very good condition with only a couple of small creases.
