A wonderful and increasingly sought-after Steiff collectible, this British Collectors UK Baby Bear Set was released in 1997 and celebrates the five original British Collectors Bears issued between 1989 and 1993. The set includes five beautifully crafted miniature bears, each representing one of the original annual British Collectors editions from this celebrated period.

Each bear is handmade from the finest quality mohair, is fully jointed, and measures approximately 6.25" (16 cm) in height. Every bear features its own individual colouring and retains its original official chest tag and the signature Steiff gold-plated button in the ear with the white Steiff tag no. 654497.

The bears are presented in their original wooden display box lined with maroon cloth. The presentation box remains in good condition, with a few scratches to the base and lid. (see detailed pictures)

This is Limited Edition number 629 of only 1,847 produced worldwide and is complete with its original certificates of authenticity. Overall, the set is in very good condition, with the bears themselves in good plus condition, making it a fabulous and unusual addition to any Steiff or teddy bear collection.
