STEIFF 'Baby Blue' Bear - Little Giants Series 2007, White Tag 037085

A wonderful opportunity to own the beautiful Steiff Baby Blue Teddy Bear, white tag 037085, a highly collectible limited edition released in 2007 as part of Steiff's prestigious Little Giants series. This charming bear faithfully recreates a rare Steiff prototype originally produced in 1929, combining classic Steiff craftsmanship with exceptional attention to detail.

Standing approximately 20"/50 cm tall, this impressive teddy bear is Limited Edition No. 543 of just 1,500 pieces worldwide and proudly features the famous white tag & gold-plated Button in Ear, confirming its authenticity.

Baby Blue is handcrafted from luxurious coarse mohair in a delicate pale silver-blue shade with soft cream highlights. Subtle pink accents around the eyes, mouth and paw pads are beautifully balanced by blue shading around the face and chin, creating a wonderfully expressive character. The bear has large bright brown eyes together with a hand-stitched black nose, mouth and claws, while a traditional working growler produces a loud growling sound when the bear is gently tilted.

The bear is fully 5-way jointed with traditionally designed limbs and upper paws. It wears an attractive blue leather collar with metal studs, adding to its distinctive appearance. The blue felt paw pads are designed with firm, flat lower pads to allow the bear to stand unaided in accordance with the original design, although due to its top-heavy proportions some additional support may be beneficial for display.  The bear is in Very Good condition.

The original chest tag and certificate of authenticity are both present and attached.

The bear is supplied in its original Steiff presentation box. The box shows a few creases together with a couple of small tears to the edge of the lid but remains a good original storage and display box.
