Celebrate a historic royal milestone with this exceptional Merrythought Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Bear, created to honour Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s 60-year reign from 1952 to 2012. This highly prestigious piece is part of an exclusive limited edition of just 200 worldwide, with this example No. 89.
Beautifully crafted from luxurious wavy white mohair, the bear features rich brown eyes along with a carefully hand-stitched nose and mouth, showcasing Merrythought’s renowned craftsmanship. It is fully jointed, allowing for classic positioning and display.
The bear is elegantly dressed in a high-quality purple 'Royal' velvet sash, intricately embroidered with “The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee 1952–2012” and finished with gold braid tassels for an added touch of regality. Enhancing its commemorative significance, the Royal Cypher of Queen Elizabeth II is embroidered on one paw, while the Union Jack appears on the other.

This piece is in excellent to excellent-plus condition and comes complete with its swing label certificate of authenticity, presented within the official display box. It also includes the original Merrythought outer carton, with both boxes remaining in excellent condition.
