Merrythought 'Peter Teddy Bear' – 1992 Limited Edition No. 152 of 500 Jackie Revitt with Mohair 

A wonderfully cute and highly collectable Merrythought “Peter” teddy bear from the 1992 Season Limited Edition, designed by renowned British teddy bear artist Jackie Revitt. This charming little bear is number 200 from a strictly limited edition of just 500 pieces. 

Measuring approximately 9 inches (23cm) tall, Peter is fully jointed and beautifully made from premium Beige mini-pile mohair.  He has a particularly sweet and delicate expression, with small, bright black eyes and a finely hand-stitched brown nose and mouth. His pale beige felt paw pads complement his soft beige mohair beautifully.

Peter is dressed in his charming pale blue and white “Sunday Best” knitted romper suit, giving him an especially cute and nostalgic appearance.  Overall he is in very good condition.  He is the 'Brother' to our Rosie Teddy Bear!

This bear retains his official Merrythought stitched labels together with her original official limited-edition swing tag (slight creasing), confirming his place within the 1992 limited-edition production. He is also accompanied by a signature from former Merrythought director Oliver Holmes, adding an interesting piece of provenance and collector appeal.

His petite size, soft beige mohair, cute blue and white romper and wonderfully gentle expression make him particularly charming.  He would make a lovely addition to any collection of British teddy bears, Jackie Revitt designs or limited-edition Merrythought bears.
