Merrythought 'Micro Cheeky Springtime Bear' with Bunny Ears (T6SPBN) is a rare and highly collectible miniature teddy bear, handcrafted in England by Merrythought. Measuring approximately 6 inches tall, this delightful micro bear is made from luxurious buttercream mohair and wears an adorable matching bunny ears bonnet, secured with a tied ribbon. It features a hand-stitched yellow nose and mouth, fully jointed limbs, and the signature bells in its ears that distinguish the classic Cheeky Bear, although the bells are no longer functioning.

This sought-after LE No. 137 of 500 worldwide, was produced early 2000 during the height of the Japanese collector boom, when Merrythought's miniature Cheeky and Punkinhead bears became exceptionally popular. Many of these exclusive micro bears were created specifically for high-end Tokyo boutiques and Japanese teddy bear conventions, making them especially desirable among collectors today.

This example retains its original gold and black Merrythought woven foot label and comes complete with its official swing tags, still attached within the original protective plastic envelope.  The model code T6SPBN identifies this bear as a 6-inch Micro Cheeky Seasonal Bunny Bear.
