The iconic Harrods 100th Anniversary Teddy Bear was released in 2002 to celebrate a remarkable milestone—the first century of the teddy bear, marking the years 1902–2002. This special edition commemorates the origins of the teddy bear, inspired by Theodore Roosevelt and his famous act of mercy in 1902, which led to the creation of the very first teddy bear by Steiff.

NB - not to be confused with the "100 Year Celebration of Teddy Bears" bear produced in 2006 for Harrods.

This limited edition bear is crafted from distinctive golden-brown polyester fur and features a beautifully stitched brown nose, mouth, and claws, complemented by bright, expressive eyes. His beige suedette paw pads are embroidered with the official Harrods logo alongside the '100 Years Teddy Anniversary' marking, adding to his collectible appeal.

He wears the instantly recognisable Harrods green and cream logo ribbon tied neatly in a bow around his neck, completing his classic and elegant look. Fully jointed for gentle posing and display, this bear comes with all official labels attached and is presented in good plus to excellent condition.
