A striking and highly collectable character bear, “Midnight Blue” was designed by renowned teddy bear artist Jill Baxter for the Dean’s Rag Book Company as part of their Artist Showcase collection. Produced around 2002 as an exceptionally small limited edition of just 40 pieces worldwide, this is a particularly appealing bear for collectors of artist-designed mohair bears.

Measuring approximately 15 inches (36–38cm) tall, Midnight Blue has the substantial presence expected of a larger collector bear. Jill Baxter is renowned for her distinctive and expressive artist bears, often characterised by wonderfully oversized feet, soft and squishy tummies, low-set ears, small heads and soulful facial expressions.
