DEAN'S RAG BOOK Co. - 'Gold Digger' designed by Lisa Wills - Limited Edition 78/100
Dean’s Rag Book Co. Gold Digger, an early 2000s Limited Edition piece numbered 78 of just 100, is a rare and highly sought-after bear designed by Lisa Wills and presented in very good condition. Crafted from rich ginger brown mohair, it features distinctive yellow suedette paws with black stitched pads, giving it a striking and characterful appearance. Its glossy black button eyes pair beautifully with a neatly hand-stitched black nose and mouth, creating a bold yet endearing expression.
This bear is fully jointed, allowing for gentle posing, and has a bean-filled tummy that adds a pleasing weight and traditional feel. Around its neck hangs the official Dean’s Limited Edition black and gold pendant, accompanied by a unique tribal design pendant believed to be made from soapstone, adding an unusual and collectible detail. The official labels are present, including the Dean’s Rag Book Co. label stitched onto the paw, along with the Limited Edition certificate of authenticity.
Subtle detailing enhances its character, with slight fur shine on the muzzle that is believed to be intentional, complemented by delicate airbrushing around the muzzle and inner ears. Combining rarity, thoughtful design, and classic craftsmanship, this distinctive bear is a standout addition for collectors of Dean’s creations and limited edition teddy bears.
